Help make them come to life by saving and bringing in your cardboard tubes, boxes, old wire, springs - anything that you think could be engineered into something new (please no glass or sharp objects). Items may be delivered to Ms. Castillo's room. Thanks for your help! |
Our 2nd annual Career Day is scheduled for January 30th from 8:30 AM- 11:00 in the Terrell Elementary gym.
Do you know someone who has a cool job that the kids would love to hear about? Do you know a sports or music industry person? Does someone you know get gratis from work that our koalas would love?
We would love to have a diversity of industry, military, technology, etc. that can not only excite our koalas, but also help them make the real-world connection to the importance of their education. Attached, please find an interest letter and below a link to complete if you or your business are able to participate. I thank you in advance for inspiring our Koalas.

Thank You for Supporting Our Library! As we wrap up the fall semester, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing families for supporting our library. Your involvement has helped create a vibrant space where students discover new worlds and grow as readers. This semester was full of exciting moments, including: - Book Fair Success – Thanks to your participation, we were able to add lots of new things in the library.
- Family Reading Night – What a joy to see families sharing stories together.
- Beanstack Back to School District Champs - We had 99.2% participation of students logging in their reading minutes.
- Book Character Pumpkins and Storybook Tree Ornaments – Creativity was in full swing with hands-on projects that connected reading with the imagination.
Because of your support, these experiences were possible—and they made a lasting impact on our students. We can’t wait to see what adventures await in the spring!

To expedite the check in process at our winter parties, we would like parents or guardians to complete this form letting us know which parties you plan to attend by Tuesday Dec. 16 at 1PM. This ensures we have time to print and prepare badges for quicker check in. Those who do not RSVP may still attend the party, but should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for check in with your state-issued ID. |
'Healthy Bites Healthy Moves’ is a free 8-week curriculum series, designed to help adults make healthy lifestyle choices. Each of the 8 sessions are about an hour and a half long and are designed to teach key skills to promote their family's health and wellness. The curriculum covers the concepts of diet quality, physical activity, food safety, food security and food preparation. Families will benefit from their classes as they will be able to plan healthy family meals by staying within a budget and saving more. Participants who attend a minimum of 6 sessions graduate with a certificate and those who attend all 8 sessions get a certificate as well as a cookbook. |

Transportation changes will not be accepted after 2:10 pm or 10:45 on early release dates. To submit a transportation change, please call the office at (832) 223-6500 or write a note for your child to bring with them, reflecting the transportation changes. Neither email nor voicemail is an approved method of communication for transportation changes.
You may check out your child early if needed for doctor's appointments or other necessary reasons until 2:30 PM on full days or 10:05 on early release dates. Please limit this as much as possible, as we are actively instructing and learning until 3:05 PM each day. If your student repeatedly leaves early, they are potentially missing key information. |
