Bernard Clifton Terrell, Jr. was born in Waco, Texas in 1931. Had an impressive life filled with remarkable, truly inspiring achievements. He attended La Vega High School and then joined the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War. After completing his service, he graduated from Baylor University in 1955 with a BBA in Marketing/Economics. 

Mr. Terrell valued action more than words. He was the kind of person who served himself last and naturally gave credit to those around him. He understood the power of working together and used that influence to create positive change in the community. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Terrell stayed involved in the community and held various positions including: 

Executive Vice President for the Rosenberg/Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater

San Antonio Chamber of Commerce 

American Chamber of Commerce Executives 

Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives 

Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Executives 

Fort Bend Economic Development Council's Executive Committee   

Rosenberg Downtown Development Association 

Vice President for the Fort Bend Literacy Council 

Advisory Board member for The George Foundation 

He was a valued member of the First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg and St. John's United Methodist Church, where he chaired the Administrative Council. 

His legacy will continue to inspire future generations to approach life with humility, hard work, and dedication. Mr. Terrell’s life exemplifies the power of hard work and dedication, and his contributions to the community will be remembered for years.
