Principal Brittany Carpenter leads the Koalas at Terrell Elementary School. With over 18 years in education, including three years in Lamar CISD, Mrs. Carpenter has served as a teacher, instructional coach, ESL specialist, and campus and district administrator. She brings a strong background in curriculum development, multilingual education, and instructional leadership, all grounded in a commitment to student success and continuous improvement. Mrs. Carpenter earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University and her master’s degree in educational leadership from American Intercontinental University with a principal internship with Lamar University. She is currently pursuing advanced doctoral studies in educational leadership through Texas A&M University, further strengthening her expertise in leading high-performing schools. She is passionate about building a positive school culture, supporting teacher growth, and partnering with families to ensure every student thrives. Mrs. Carpenter believes in creating engaging, rigorous learning experiences that inspire students to think boldly and achieve their full potential as future leaders.
