Child Safety Matters Program Presentation Consent

Posted Date: 10/30/25 (3:04 PM)

Child Safety Matters is a program that will be provided to meet the state law entitled Erin's Law.  This law requires all public schools in each state to implement a prevention-oriented child abuse program that teaches students age-appropriate techniques as well as how to identify and notify a trusted adult.    More information about this law can be found at erinslaw.org.  More information about Child Safety Matters can be found at mbfpreventioneducation.org .
The following topics will be covered in our presentation: Understanding safety rules in different environments (home, school, online), recognizing unsafe or uncomfortable situations (bullying, inappropriate touch), and identifying trusted adults and practicing how to ask for help.

New state guidance requires parents to opt in for these presentations.  Please complete this form by November 6th to notify us of your consent for your student to attend the presentation on November 13th.
