September Celebrates Trustworthiness

This month students reviewed what it means to be trustworthy. Ask your learner what being trustworthy means to them. We reviewed that doing what you say you will do and being a "True Blue" friend are both ways to show trustworthiness. Students also signed (or will be signing) into effect their kindness classroom pledge for the 2025-2026 school year. Terrell Elementary wants to keep their recognition of a "School of Kindness" through the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. Be on the look out this month for some kindness bingo cards where students can participate in random acts of kindness at home and in their community. Be true blue and show your kiddo what it means to be kind and trustworthy!

Thank you

Thank you to all of our parents who made it out to our Parent Information Night presentation of Emotional Wellness and Conflict Resolution. Mrs. O and I had a great time providing resources for you to support your learner at home.

Student Leadership

Student Council ratified its constitution and held its first meeting in August. Be on the look out for sponsored events for you and your child to give back to our community through the leadership and support of student council.

Character Crew will be a new leadership opportunity for all students in grades 1-5. Students will work with teachers to make our Character Counts Pillars prevalent in all areas of the school. More information will come in October of how your learner can become a part of the Character Crew.

Attendance Awareness Month - Parent's Corner

Did you know that arriving to school on time has a significant impact on your child's learning ability? The instructional time that can be lost even by just missing 5 minutes of class each day can have a bold effect on your learner. Doors open every day at 7:15. Instruction begins at 7:45. Please help us provide the best educational experience for your learner by having them here on time daily.
